Hi I’m Chaos.
I’m a 42-year-old mystical gal from the great white north. I am a Psychic/Tarot reader and I share my life with my boyfriend, 2 dogs, bunny and snake. You think that’s a lot? So do most people, but it works for me. I call myself Chaos because most people’s perception of me is a big ball of disorder and disarray. I’ve always got my hands in about 17 different pots. I’m a certified life coach, I paint, I write, I bullet journal, I cut & paste, I meditate, I interpret dreams, I cast spells, I’m a second-year astrology student, I’m a certified nail technician, I make my own candles and I just recently got into plants, which freaks me out a little bit because if you knew me at all, you would know that I have always appreciated them from afar but never shared my home with them. These interests are just a few of many.
The reason for them all is because I get bored of doing one thing, I like to take breaks, work on other things, and sort of jump back n forth. It takes longer to complete things, but for me, completion has never been my goal, this doesn’t mean I never complete anything, I just prefer to enjoy the journey and the process of things I do, and I’m not entirely worried about the destination. So rather than focussing only on one or two things, I have learned to embrace the chaos that I am, so that I can enjoy them all. When you think about it, the chaos that others see surrounding me, is really my peace, my happy place.
I’ve wanted to start a lifestyle blog for quite a while, one of the things that held me back was the fact that every lifestyle blog I personally came across, all had to do with raising kids or recipes. While that’s all fine and good, I made the choice a very long time ago to not have children, and trust me you don’t want me in the kitchen. For those reasons I felt like I didn’t really have much to offer in terms of blogging. It wasn’t until a short while ago that I realized, “Hey, I don’t have to have kids or be some amazing chef in order to write about stuff!” So, I decided to create a blog that incorporated all aspects of my life, because not only have I become an expert at being me, but I have also become a bit of an expert on my passions and would love to be able to write about my hobbies as well as my life coaching and meditation practices.
So, if you haven’t realized yet why you should bother reading this blog, maybe my quirky, witty, with a side of sarcastic personality will bring you on board. I love laughter, and so I generally tend to add slice of humour to, well…everything, because laughter always makes me feel better, so if I can at least put a smile on your face and give you a chuckle or inspire you in some way then it’s all worth it to me.
So welcome to my life, I hope you enjoy reading about it as much as I enjoy sharing it with you.
