I always aim to get these posts out right when the season of the sign begins, but try as I might, I’m always fashionably late! You know what they say, better late than never! Here we have Capricorn’s Tarot Representative – The Devil! Another one of my favourite cards, this is for anyone born December 22nd – January 19th

I love Capricorn season, because while the darkness is still greater than daylight. It’s the first step towards the days getting longer. Which means it’s the first step we take towards spring. That alone makes me a fan.

Capricorn’s have this driving force to achieve practical/physical things, or to make things more practical. Don’t get me wrong, this doesn’t mean that they don’t strive to achieve greatness. What I mean by this, is they are very down to earth, so they aren’t the ones “makin in rain” with “dolla bills”. They would much rather take those dollar bills and do something beneficial with them. The problem that arises with this aspect of a Capricorn is that they can become obsessive about these things, and these things can become all they think about.

Which brings me to the Devil. We all know this card represents temptation, but it also represents obsession. So when you have this card being the representative of Capricorns, the first thing that jumps out at me is that he’s your card for a reason. Are you becoming obsessed? Maybe it’s time to take a step back. Sometimes those obsessions we have that we call “healthy obsessions” can turn into harmful ones real quick, without us even noticing.

So this guy is in your life to give you that tap on the shoulder saying “hey, maybe you should slow your role for a second there buddy”. He tries to keep the obsessive part of your life in check because he knows that it can get out of hand real quick. He knows this because he is the embodiment of obsession. He wants you to learn from his mistakes, so that you don’t end up like him. Trapped and in a downward spiral where you end up hating yourself, and being forever a victim of your life choices.

Don’t misunderstand what I am saying, you can still be passionate about things in your life. Just try to understand the difference between healthy and harmful. Do what you love, and love what you do, as long as it doesn’t do any harm to you or others along the way.

That being said, I ask my Capricorn friends. Are you following your passion? What is your passion? If you don’t know what steps are you taking to find it?

If you’re a Sagittarius or Scorpio, check out my posts for your tarot representatives. If you’re an Aquarius, sign up for my mailing list so you’ll be notified when I post yours towards the end of this month.

Until next time folks!
